The Ken Onion Edition Knife & Tool
Sharpener is designed to sharpen every knife you own.
Using a fully adjustable precision sharpening guide, variable speed and
wide flexible abrasive
belts it sharpens pocket & hunting knives, serrated knives, kitchen
knives and any other shape
or type of blade you own. Professional blade makers like Ken Onion use
flexible belts to put a razor
sharp edge on their blades, now you can have the same technology in
your home or shop.
Work Sharp Engineered and Ken Onion Designed to deliver the pinnacle of
knife sharpening.
The ¾" x 12" premium, flexible
engineered abrasive belts* sharpen virtually any shape or type
of knife blade and uses a precision sharpening guide to ensure that you
get a consistent angle
every time. The sharpening guide is fully adjustable from 15° to
30° so you can sharpen any knife
to the angle you desire to best meet your needs. The variable speed
control (1200 SFM to 2800 SFM)
provides you with the optimal belt speed for the task at hand.
* The 6000 grit belt measures
½" x 12" for better contact with serrations, guthooks and other
hard to reach edges.

The WSKTS-KO Blade Grinding Attachment
is a horizontal belt attachment designed for knife shaping, sharpening
and honing tasks.
This 4 pulley attachment is fully adjustable from 10° to 35°
(in 1° increments) and uses 1” x 18” engineered abrasive belts in a
wide range of grits.
The top pulleys have two center distance positions so you can choose
your preferred belt deflection to create the edge profile you want –
a full convex or a near flat convex. This allows you to customize your
blade edge to best meet your needs or preference.
This attachment is similar in design to what blade makers use and
provides a wide range of adjustability so you can custom shape,
sharpen and hone your blades at home without the cost or size of full
scale blade maker’s equipment.
It is designed with cast metal components and engineered polymers to
hold up to the rigors of heavy sharpening tasks.
This attachment is quickly installed thanks to the tool-less design so
changing belts and attachments is quick and easy.
The belt speed is adjustable from 1200 SFM to 2800 SFM to accommodate a
wide range of sharpening and honing tasks.
The Blade Grinder attachment accommodates a wide range of 1” x 18”
abrasive grit belts and also accepts an optional leather belt for power
stropping.
A flat reference plate is provided so you can level your blade before
you approach the belt (which determines your grind angle) and create a
very consistent edge angle on your blade. Since the angle adjustment is
done in the belt, the sharpening method is always the same – simply
hold the blade horizontal and sharpen the length of the blade across
the belt. Attachment also includes a flat work space that provides a
90° angle access to the abrasive belt for various grinding tasks.
The micro-adjust belt tracking knob ensures you keep your belt centered
while working, without using tools or losing momentum.
The spring tensioner with a sealed bearing has a lock out feature that
makes belt changes fast and easy without the need for tools – simply
push and turn the tensioner to install a belt in seconds.
Attachment includes cool cutting, engineered, long
life 1” x 18” belts for shaping, sharpening, honing and stropping:
(1) Norton P120 Extra Coarse Grit,
(1) Norton Norax X65 (equivalent to P220),
(1) Norax X22 (equivalent to P1000),
(1) Norax X4 (equivalent to P3000)
(1) Micro Mesh 12,000.
Not intended for grinding or creating primary
bevels into steel blade blanks, but is capable of shaping, profiling,
sharpening, honing and stropping tasks
on existing blades.

The WSKTS-KO Tool Grinding Attachment
is designed for home shop tool sharpening and grinding tasks.
This two pulley Tool Grinding Attachment is designed with cast metal
components to hold up to the rigors of grinding and sharpening tasks
like
axes and hatchets, mower blades, garden tools and most any tool with a
blade.
It also makes a handheld belt sander / power file for a wide range of
grinding tasks in metal, wood or plastics.
It installs quickly thanks to the tool-less design, so changing
attachments is quick and easy.
The spring tensioner with sealed bearing has a lock out feature that
makes belt changes fast and easy without the need for tools – simply
push and turn the tensioner to install a belt in seconds.
This attachment provides a larger diameter drive pulley to achieve the
optimal belt speed (4500 SFM) for a wide range of grinding tasks.
On tool belt tracking ensures that you can keep your belt centered
while working, without using tools or losing momentum.
Attachment allows for both flat platen and slack belt grinding
depending on the task at hand without any set up time or parts to
adjust.
Includes premium Norton extra coarse P60 grit
Zirconia Alumina 3/4" x 12” engineered abrasive belts that are designed
and intended for heavy stock removal and long life.
This attachment also accepts the standard WSKTS-KO belt mix for more
light duty grinding or polishing tasks where a finer surface finish or
less material take off is desired. Not intended for industrial or
commercial applications.

The Norton P60 ultra-coarse zirconia alumina abrasive belts are ideal
for coarse grinding and shaping.
This is the most aggressive belt for the Tool Grinding Attachment.
Intended for tool grinding, edge shaping and other heavy material
removal tasks.
These belts are a direct replacement for the P60 belt that comes
standard with the Tool Grinding Attachment for the Ken Onion Edition
